2018

Just got back from Missouri writing with Jared Hicks and Oran Thornton...wrote some winners I believe so I'm anxious to put them to music. Went in the studio this past Tuesday to record a video with Justin Mayotte and Chris Parker to one of the songs I wrote this past week so I'm anxious to get that back and put it out! It feels good to be putting out new music. I always feel like my creativity comes in waves. Last year was a learning time and this year will be a season where I put what I've learned to practice. I think everyone has those years or seasons in their lives where they act as a sponge, soaking everything in and learning. Quietly sitting back and filling their tank after a long journey of emptying it. I plan on emptying everything I have in the next few years.

2016

New Year, New me....I'm just playin'...That's corny.  With 2016 coming in though I'm excited to get some new music and play some new places though. One of my life and career goals for the upcoming year is to "get back to me". I love so many different types of music and art that sometimes I forget to show my audience my roots instead of my branches. This upcoming year I hope to change that and show a deeper side of myself through photos, music, my posts and through social media in general. I believe the greater you know yourself the better an artist you are and I hope to get better at that this year. I know when I look at new artists I don't look for perfection, rather the genuine flaws about them make their music that much better to me. I think beyond music all people are like that. We are drawn to people who we see our own flaws in but where we are too insecure to promote them to the world, those we admire hold them up as a billboard saying "I do this too! It's not weird! It's completely normal". I hope one day I can be that guy. I'm hungry. I gotta get something to eat y'all. Take care!!

New EP available on Itunes Jan 8th!!

Ok guys it’s been a long time coming but I am finally able to bring you guys some new music and what I believe is my ABSOLUTE best project ever. It’s a little left of center but still in the genre of country with a little touch of soul and Muscle Shoals sound like you’re used to from me. This new EP will feature 5 of my favorite songs i’ve written and cowritten in the last year and a half. They cover the spectrum of bonfire country music to my own story of restoring my faith in God after getting a little wild for a while. I used producer Simon Gugala on this project and he was outstanding every step of the way…very creative guy! Thank you guys for allowing me to continue making this dream a reality and sticking with me each and every step of the way, I am truly so thankful for ya’ll. When you hear the EP let me know what you think and let’s take this to the next level.

I gotta let Robbie know how appreciative I am of him for taking these awesome photos for the new EP and more. It doesn’t sound like much but we were shooting in an older house that didn’t have heat, the date was Dec 18th and it was 35 degrees inside….yep…inside. He was a complete pro and didn’t even complain that I was hogging the only space heater we had. I’m excited to get these pictures out to you guys and get hard copies in everyones hands as soon as possible. I have a tendency to get excited and rush these kinds of things so I have to wait until Jan 8th for everything to be perfect though. I appreciate you guys so much. Thank you.
